Ms Brown is a lawyer and former Chief Executive of the commercial law firm Thomson Playford. In almost 30 years of practice, Ms Brown has advised clients in both the public and private sectors of the health area.
She is currently Chairman of Local Super SA/NT and until November 2007 was President of the Royal Automobile Association of South Australia.
In addition Ms Brown is a member of several Boards including the Motor Accident Commission, Health Services Australian Limited and the Central Northern Adelaide Health Service.
