Professor Dorothy Keefe is Clinical Director of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Cancer Centre and The Cancer Council SA Chair in Cancer Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Adelaide.
Professor Keefe is an active researcher in the field of mucositis (the oral and gastrointestinal tract damage following chemotherapy and radiotherapy). She was also Chairman of the Cancer Research Advisory Committee of The Cancer Council South Australia from 2003 to 2006.
Her knowledge of oncology, supportive care research, and allocation of research funding inform her activity on the Board of The Cancer Council SA.
