Pack your tent, lace up your shoes, bring your friends and family and become involved with The Cancer Council South Australia's Relay for Life
Get 10-15 friends or colleagues together for the opportunity of a lifetime and be part of this exciting event held by The Cancer Council South Australia. Relay for Life is a team event to raise funds for cancer research, education, prevention and support. It's 20 hours of fun with the challenge of competing in a relay style walk/run, all aimed at reducing the impact of cancer in South Australia.
Relay for Life is a vital source of income for The Cancer Council South Australia - so every dollar you raise is helping in the fight against cancer.
Every donation we receive allows us to further expend our knowledge of cancer, which is still responsibile for 26% of all deaths in South Australia. This knowledge comes from the research we fund into the causes, treatments, early detection and prevention of cancers.
Research is the only way to sustain the great progress we have made, and it can only continue with the generous support of the South Australian public. The more ongoing, quality research projects we can fund, the closer we come to beating cancer. It's that simple.
Thank you again for helping to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Relay for Life is a wonderful event you'll remember for a lifetime.
