W Bruce Hall Cancer Research Fellowship

The family of the late W Bruce Hall has entrusted significant funding to Cancer Council SA to allow the creation of this fellowship for scientific research at the cellular level into the causes, prevention, early diagnosis and/or improved treatment of solid tumours. 

Cancer Council SA is the state's leading non-government cancer control organisation, dedicated to ensuring that South Australians are reducing their cancer risk and receiving the best cancer care.
 
Cancer Council SA Research Fellowships are for three years depending on annual reports of satisfactory progress and are awarded on a competitive basis, to scientists / practitioners working in SA. The merit of the research project, the researcher's track record and evidence of support from the relevant host institution form part of the Selection Criteria.

Applicants for the W Bruce Hall Research Fellow and invited. The successful applicant will be post doctoral, involved in cancer control research, have published in the scientific literature and be able to demonstrate support from the South Australian institution where the proposed research is to take place.
