Introduction
Since 1928, the Cancer Council South Australia has worked resolutely to defeat cancer, and create hope for people affected by cancer by supporting high-quality research, implementing prevention strategies and providing practical and emotional support for cancer patients, their families and carers.
The 2007 Annual Review summarises our achievements over the past 12 months. These significant achievements are made possible by the generous support of our donor community and the work of our dedicated volunteers, branch members and staff.
As the state's leading independent, cancer-related non-government organisation, we have an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact on the future health of our state.
