Centre for cancer research

A key function of the Centre for Cancer Control Research is the application of epidemiology and behavioural sciences in strategic research to improve service delivery.

The Centre works in partnership with other staff of the Foundation, who cover a broader field of behavioural research with a focus on tobacco control, sun protection, diet, alcohol consumption, physical activity, and psychosocial aspects of cancer care and control.
 
What is it for?
Monitoring cancer and cancer risk, and undertaking applied research and evaluation to help inform services directed toward "reducing the impact of cancer".
