    In this issue…

    • Our second year as official Charity Partner with Santos Tour Down Under (STDU) exceeded all expectations. Read about the success of the event and the work of our volunteers at STDU, where they obtained pledges from members of the community to reduce their personal risk of cancer.

    • Cancer Council SA recently launched a submission to the South Australian government calling for a raft of changes to help reduce the impact of cancer on the community. In this issue of Progress we discuss the three recommendations we have made surrounding tobacco control – increasing investment in quit smoking campaigns, eliminating tobacco displays at point of sale and making alfresco hospitality settings smoke free.
