    Gifts in wills

Leaving a gift in your will to a cause close to your heart is a wonderful way for your life to be celebrated. A gift to Cancer Council SA can help those affected by cancer and create hope for future generations.

It is a common misconception that only wealthy people leave gifts in their will. Every gift, no matter how large or small, makes a difference. Thank you for considering leaving this gift.

What do gifts in wills achieve?

Leaving a gift in your will enables us to continue investing in critical cancer research, reduce cancer risk through prevention and early detection campaigns, and provide support services for people affected by cancer.

One example is the launch of the Cancer Council Beat Cancer Project, where funding for more than 31 cancer research projects are being pursued. The Beat Cancer Project will ensure donations are strategically targeted to cancer research projects that are needed most, as well as ensure that the research being undertaken is of the highest standard. Click here to view the profiles of some of the researchers we are currently funding.

Our goal is to continue investing in a range of research projects, focusing on making a real difference to the quality of life and health of people living in South Australia.
