Director Catherine Branson is a former Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, past President of the Australian Human Rights Commission and the current Chair of the University of Adelaide. Earlier in her career she held the positions of Crown Solicitor of South Australia and CEO of the Attorney-General’s Department (SA) before leaving public employment to practise as a Barrister. Catherine is presently Deputy Chancellor of The University of Adelaide, an Adjunct Professor of the Adelaide Law School and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law. She Chairs the Board of the Human Rights Law Centre. Throughout her career she has served in a voluntary capacity on the governance or advisory bodies of a significant number of organisations and charities involved with the arts, health, education or human rights.
