We believe that no one should go through a cancer journey alone. Every day, our passionate team of staff, Ambassadors, volunteers and supporters unite to make this vision a reality.
We have carefully formed this three-year plan with our Board to fulfil our ambition to reduce the impact of cancer for all South Australians.
It is an increasingly difficult job to raise funds and we have taken into consideration the challenging economic environment in which we are embarking on this mission. A lot of our existing services will remain, but we also constantly look to reform what we do and how we do it, to sustain our financial commitment to stop cancer from devastating South Australian lives and to reach as many affected people as possible.
Additionally, we are focussed on ensuring that our Aboriginal communities have access to culturally appropriate education, information and support services to improve cancer prevention behaviours and cancer survival rates among their communities.
We are committed to ensuring that no South Australian goes through cancer alone and will remain focused on maximising the effect of our investment into beating cancer.
Every day we move closer to a future where cancer is no longer feared, but seen as a preventable, treatable and manageable disease.
Together we will make this a reality.
