Your support has helped many dragon fighting warrior princesses
    21 October 2016

This October we show the strong, the beautiful and the inspiring women in our lives that if cancer comes knocking, they won’t be alone. Women across our state are getting together for a Girls’ Night In to raise awareness and funds to fight breast and gynaecological cancers, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Thanks to your generous support, we’ve been able to support South Australian women right through their cancer journey by investing in life-saving cancer research, invaluable prevention programs and services and essential support services.

Just one of these women is Carla, who was diagnosed with breast cancer when her children were two, three and five. We were able to provide her with information to help them understand what was happening during her challenging diagnosis and treatment.

Carla was honest with them about her diagnosis, but also created this inspiring story about her epic battle in which she is a dragon fighting warrior princess.

Carla hopes that by sharing her video she’ll help others through their own battle.

It’s a scary fact that over 50 Australian women a day are told they have a breast or gynaecological cancer. But with wonderful people like you by our side, we will continue to support these women (women just like Carla) so that they don’t walk through a cancer journey alone.

Thank you for standing with all of the dragon fighting warrior princesses out there.
