Another way that you can support Cancer Council SA is by supporting an event near you. As well as spreading awareness and raising funds, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people and strengthen your community roots.

Take a look at our current community events below:

    Judith’s Walk
    February 2019 (annual event)

In memory of his loving wife, Judith, Dean Rowe honours and celebrates her memory through ‘Judith’s Walk’ each February. Dean lost the love his life, Judith, in March 2017 to ovarian cancer and ever since has been dedicated and determined to raise funds for Cancer Council SA, with part proceeds to Ovarian Cancer Australia. The 6km walk (12km return) from Willunga Rose Garden to Kangarilla Road in McLaren Vale, along the Shiraz Trail, was a treasured walk of Judith & Dean’s. Dean organises many fundraising events throughout the year in the lead up to ‘Judith’s Walk’ with all the money raised going towards his fundraising total.
