  • Ride for a reason

Join Cancer Council’s Ride for a reason team and hundreds of fellow riders who are helping to beat cancer.

You can make a difference riding any course! From the Challenge Tour at the Santos Tour Down Under, to setting your own Distance Challenge for the eleven days of Tour week.

No matter your challenge―there will be some who have chosen to Ride with a powerful reason in their heart.

As part of the Ride for a reason team, you’ll earn high-quality cycling kit, access to training rides and tips with Olympian Patrick Jonker and have the ability to ride free in this year’s Challenge Tour!

With one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, the need to find better ways to detect and treat cancer is real.

Cancer has taken too much from us all. It’s time to Ride together and beat cancer.
