Join Cancer Council’s Ride for a reason team and hundreds of fellow riders who are helping to create a cancer free future.

With one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, the need to find better ways to detect and treat cancer is real.

You can make a difference by simply riding your bike! You can take part in the Tour Down Under Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser or you can set your own Distance Challenge for the 11 days of the Tour, your decision to ride will make a big impact.

As a Ride for a reason participant, you can ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. Through your fundraising efforts, you can contribute not only to a cancer free future, you can also earn a high-quality cycling kit, access to training rides and tips with Olympian Patrick Jonker—and have the ability to ride free in this year’s Tour Down Under Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser.

When you sign up to Ride for a reason and raise funds to support Cancer Council’s vital research, support and prevention programs, you become a hero to thousands of Australians affected by cancer.

Cancer has taken too much from us all. It’s time to Ride together for a cancer free future.
