      Established in 2011, Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project is a partnership between Cancer Council SA, SA Health, The University of Adelaide, Flinders University, the University of South Australia, and South Australia’s flagship research facility, the South Australian Healthand Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI).

    • SAHMRI

      There are currently five major projects being undertaken at SAHMRI as part of Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project.

    • SA Health

      This year, The Government of South Australia again dollar matched Cancer Council SA’s $2 million investment into local cancer research projects.

    • The University of Adelaide

      Currently, there are nine major projects being undertaken by University of Adelaide researchers funded by Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer project.

    • Flinders University

      There are currently six major projects being undertaken by Flinders University researchers as part of Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project.

    • The University of South Australia

      There are currently 13 major projects being undertaken by UniSA researchers as part of Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project.
