  • Every minute. Every hour. Every day.

Cancer never rests, and for that reason, neither do we.  That’s why we’re here for all South Australians affected by cancer every minute, every hour, every day.  And tomorrow, with your help, we’ll start again.

Cancer Council is the only charity to work across every area of every cancer, from research to prevention and support. We help people from the point of diagnosis through to treatment and survivorship.

    Support

Every day, we support families impacted by cancer when they need it most, with practical, emotional and financial support. Learn more about our support services.

    Advocacy

Every day, we speak up on your behalf, calling on our government to make positive changes to create cancer free communities. Learn more about advocacy.

    Prevention

Every day, we empower you to stay SunSmart, keep healthy, stay vigilant and minimise your cancer risk. Learn more about cancer prevention.

    Research

Every day, we fund over 200 research initiatives as part of the Beat Cancer Project, exploring new ways to better detect and treat cancer. Learn more about research.

With your help, every minute, every hour, and every day we’re getting closer to a cancer free future.

Every minute, our website is available to offer information and support to any one of the 1.1 million Australians who have been diagnosed with cancer or are living with cancer.

Every hour, over 500 Cancer Council funded researchers are striving to discover new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer.

Every day, we provide a home away from home to 332 people who have to travel to treatment through our Cancer Council lodge and accommodation service.
