This project will determine the functions of a family of newly defined regulatory factors in advanced prostate cancer. These novel factors control androgen signalling at multiple levels including by interacting with the key regulator of prostate cancer progression, the androgen receptor (AR). The overall goal is to identify whether these factors can serve as targets for the development of new drugs to treat advanced prostate cancer.
