We are so excited to announce Cancer Council SA will share our new building at 202 Greenhill Road with Energise Food Co., a new café boasting great coffee and healthier food options. Owners, Mali and Sky are looking forward to launching the café to South Australians in the coming months.
As part of the original concept for our new, integrated cancer building, Cancer Council SA was passionate about having a space where our guests and the general South Australian public could get together and enjoy healthy, delicious food.
Mali and Sky have a combined 23 years’ experience in the coffee industry and own another café based in Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.
Both Mali and Sky are not just business owners but also expert baristas. Sky has six years’ barista working experience and Mali has been working as barista for more than 10 years.
“Energise was born as we feel many cafés inside hospitals and health-settings to be lacking in good, healthy food and great coffee,” they said.
“Our menu includes breakfast options, lots of lovely salads and sandwiches, smoothies and will be seasonal to make use of fresh produce. All menu items will be low in sugar and fats and there will be no processed meats. We are loving the idea of creating good food to help prevent cancer.”
“We are excited to be part of this great, new building. We are setting up our first Energise with Cancer Council SA and will be opening another one in the CBD in May.”
Energise Food Co. will be located in the west side of the new Cancer Council SA building with the entrance on Greenhill Road, and open Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 3.00 pm.
We look forward to seeing this exciting, new café come together over the coming months.
