Progress update on Project 202: it’s all thanks to you

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our South Australian community and people like you, our home away from home at 202 Greenhill Road is just months away from opening its doors.

Here’s a snapshot of our progress so far, thanks to the support of people like you:

In March 2021, Cancer Council SA began work on their new, integrated cancer building at 202 Greenhill Road Eastwood thanks to the generosity of the South Australian community. Over the past 16 months, we have excitedly watched on as the building has progressed from foundation to modern, city fringe accommodation for rural and regional South Australians. It has developed from a concept into a symbol of hope for a cancer free future.

Combining 120 rooms of supported accommodation alongside cancer research, prevention and support services, the building will be the home for all South Australians impacted by cancer, giving them every chance to survive a cancer diagnosis.

The building is close to opening, with the first guests expected in late 2022.

This project is only possible because of the generous support of the South Australian community and people like you. You are making a real and empowering contribution to South Australian cancer care and your support is helping to create a home for every South Australian impacted by cancer.
