Given the current impact of COVID-19 and travel restrictions in place, please note accommodation is currently restricted to palliative care patients only. What can we offer?

  • Apex Retreat units are in the Wallaroo Holiday Park—a popular tourist and recreation area which is an easy two hour drive from Adelaide.
  • Accommodation consists of four purpose built holiday units. Each unit has three bedrooms accommodating up to eight people and contains a fully equipped kitchen, appliances and linen for all bedrooms.
  • Free accommodation for one week is available for most of the year. It is not available during the Christmas period and for another two week period during the year due to a town event.
  • Guests are required to bring their own food, personal items and beach towels. A cot and high chair is available upon request.

 

Eligibility

  • A South Australian resident impacted by cancer.
  • Bookings are for a one-off holiday only.

Please note that a fee of $50 is required to cover the cost of cleaning.
