Having a regular screening mammogram can find breast cancer early, when it is small and easier to treat. If breast cancer is found at an early stage, the chances of surviving are higher.
As a result, 92 per cent of women diagnosed with breast cancer overcome the disease.
A screening mammogram is for women aged 40 and older, especially those aged 50–74. You can have a free screening mammogram every two years with BreastScreen SA. All the staff are female and you don’t need a referral to book.
The BreastScreen SA mobile screening unit will be in Whyalla from July to August this year. Don’t miss out—book your appointment today.
Book online or call BreastScreen SA on 13 20 50.

Multicultural women who book and attend their appointment during this time will receive a free scarf.
