If you feel that Cancer Council SA has in anyway breached any of the principles, standards or code of conduct we would really like to hear from you. We have literally thousands of volunteer fundraisers collecting monies across the state at any one time. It is important that feedback comes through to us so we can correct any activities that do not meet industry standards or your expectations. Cancer Council SA relies heavily on community fundraising activities and we do our best to ensure these activities meet community expectations.
There are many ways to lodge a complaint regarding the activities of Cancer Council SA or any of our community supporters:
By phone: we find this the fastest and most effective way to resolve complaints.
- Please call us on 1300 65 65 85 for fundraising complaints or feedback.
- Please call 13 11 20 for complaints or feedback about our services including counselling, Helpline support, our accommodation facilities, our volunteer drivers or any of our other cancer services.
- Please call 08 8291 4111 for any other complaints or feedback to ensure your call is directed to the most appropriate person.
By email: all email complaints will be directed through to the appropriate person and we aim to respond to your issue as soon as possible. Often we need to contact members of the community which can take some time and so we aim to have a response to you within five working days. Email us here.

If you are not satisfied with any response you receive regarding our fundraising activities then you can register your complaint with the Fundraising Institute of Australia through the FIA Complaints Process.
You also have the option to register any complaint within South Australia through the Office of Consumer and Business Services or through the Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner here in South Australia.
