Daffodil Day, on 22 August, encourages all South Australians to help fund vital cancer research happening right here in South Australia. Every year we love seeing our wonderful community come together throughout August, to raise funds for the 11,000 South Australians diagnosed with cancer every year.

Here are five ways you can give this Daffodil Day:

1. Buy Daffodils

You can purchase our fresh daffodils on Daffodil Day at one of our stalls! Brighten up your home or make someone smile by gifting them to friends, family or workmates. Don’t forget, all proceeds support cancer research.

2. Visit us at one of our Daffodil Day sites

Our volunteers will be out at our Daffodil Day stalls across Adelaide during the week of Daffodil Day. Visit your local Daffodil Day site to buy fresh daffodils, purchase merchandise or simply make a donation towards cancer research.

3. Volunteer

For all that cancer takes, give your time and volunteer this Daffodil Day. To find out more about the volunteer opportunities available contact volunteer@cancersa.org.au

4. Fundraise

Host a fundraiser or a wear yellow day at your workplace, school or with friends. Your fundraiser can be as big or as small as you like – the only limit is your creativity! Register your Daffodil Day fundraiser today.

5. Donate

There are 30 new cases of cancer diagnosed in South Australia every day. Make an online donation to Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day to fund life-saving cancer research.

Thank you to our Daffodil Day major state partner, Thomas Foods International for helping us give hope to South Australians impacted by cancer. Learn more about the South Australian cancer research you are supporting this Daffodil Day.
