Daffodil Day Volunteers — 27 August 2021

Every four minutes another Australian is diagnosed with cancer. We have made great progress, but we need you to help us keep the momentum going.

Daffodil Day is Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved fundraising event. It’s a chance for Australians to come together and show their Flower Power, their ability to create change in the lives of people impacted by cancer, by funding cancer research. And is only made possible by the incredible support of our volunteers.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to raise awareness of Cancer Council SA and raise funds for vital cancer research. You can help us by selling fresh daffodils and collecting donations at sites across South Australia on Friday 27 August (additional volunteer shifts are available throughout the week of 23 to 29 August).

There are several volunteer opportunities available:

  • Site leader (contact prior to registering online if you wish to take up this option); this opportunity allows you to invite your friends and family members to volunteer by your side and manage a site
  • Site volunteer
  • Logistics volunteer

Click on the register button to find a role and opportunity near you. Book in early to secure the location that is convenient to you!

Together, we can be the power behind the flower this daffodil day and work towards making our vision of a cancer free future, a reality.
