Role:
Educator

With a doctoral degree in Humanities, Dhamu has more than six years of teaching experience from the Australian university sector, over five years of professional experience in not-for-profit organisations and four years of lived experience in regional South Australia.

Hailing from the Indigenous background of the subcontinent, Dhamu is passionate about Aboriginal history and social justice. He strongly believes that teaching is a two-way process where respect for oneself, respect for others, flexibility and reflexivity are the fundamental prerequisites to an effective learning experience. Dhamu believes that vocational training offers an opportunity for professionals, most of whom are experts in their respective fields already, to hone their skills and is looking forward to supporting professionals through his role as a Quitskills Educator.
