How your donation makes a difference

Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity, working across every area of cancer. Every day, we support people affected by cancer when they need it most, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk through prevention programs, and find new and better ways to detect and treat cancer.

With your generous support, Cancer Council SA will continue investing in:

  • life-saving cancer research to find better ways to detect and treat cancer
  • prevention education to empower people to reduce their cancer risk
  • essential support including Cancer Council 13 11 20, to ease some of the emotional and practical burden

Together, we can ensure that the future looks brighter for all of us.

“Janice was like my sister. The first time I was alone after she told me the news, I cried for what felt like hours.”
We went through it together.  Read more
