Facilities and onsite support

Cancer Council SA’s Greenhill Lodge is home to 120 rooms of supportive accommodation, alongside a range of support services available to guests and carers during their stay.

Two people sit on a sofa, chatting; one in a pink top, the other in red, holding a notebook.

Each room has facilities to support your needs

Greenhill Lodge offers a range of room types to suit individuals, couples, and families — depending on the length of your stay.

To make your time with us comfortable, we also have a range of in-room and on-site facilities.

In your private room, you’ll find:

  • ensuite bathroom
  • free WiFi
  • refrigerator
  • microwave
  • air conditioning and heating
  • tea and coffee.

You’ll also have access to weekly room service (towels and linen provided). Weekly room cleans are provided for stays over seven days.

Support services

Social worker support

Our team of social workers are here to discuss practical issues, provide information about services, and offer a safe and confidential space to talk about some of the issues a cancer experience can bring.

Transport to Treatment

We offer a free, volunteer-run bus service that transports our guests from Greenhill Lodge to a limited number of metropolitan medical centres and hospitals.

The service travels Monday to Friday from Greenhill Lodge to Royal Adelaide Hospital, St Andrew’s Hospital, Tennyson Centre Day Hospital and Genesis Care (Flinders Private Hospital).

Counselling services

Our team of professional counsellors are experienced in supporting people impacted by cancer and can help manage the emotional impact a cancer diagnosis can bring. Learn more about our counselling service.
