Cancer prevention information sessions

Up to one in three cancers are preventable. Cancer Council SA provides cancer prevention information sessions to South Australian workplaces to educate your staff about cancer prevention and early detection.

Audience seated in a bright conference room, facing a presenter at the front.

During our information sessions, our experienced presenters will cover ways to reduce cancer risk, including:

  • being smoke and vape free
  • sun protection
  • finding cancer early and cancer screening programs
  • healthy eating and physical activity
  • avoiding or limiting alcohol.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions run for 30, 60 or 90 minutes, for a minimum of 10 participants.

What is the cost of a session?

The service fee varies depending on the size of your organisation, length of session, preferred topic(s) and whether you’d prefer face-to-face or a webinar session.

Once we’ve received your completed expression of interest form, we can inform you of the exact cost.

How do I organise a session for my workplace?
