Cancer Council SA funds the best and brightest cancer researchers in the state through our fellowships and project grants – and we need your help to make decisions about the research we support.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our grant review panel — including scientific reviewers and people with lived experience of cancer.
Whether you're a researcher or clinician with expertise in cancer science, or a person impacted by cancer (as a patient, survivor, carer or advocate), your insights are vital in helping us make fair and impactful decisions about our research funding.
As a grant reviewer, you will:
- help assess grant applications for scientific merit and relevance
 - contribute to a transparent and inclusive review process
 - support funding of groundbreaking cancer research that makes a difference in the lives of people impacted by cancer.

How do I register my interest to become a grant reviewer?
You can register your interest to become a grant reviewer by getting in touch with our Research team at grants@cancersa.org.au.
Together, we can fund research that matters — and improve outcomes for all those impacted by cancer.
