Daffodil Day
This August, Cancer Council SA is celebrating 40 years of Daffodil Day. Since its inaugural year in 1986, Daffodil Day has grown into one of the biggest and most loved community events in Australia. Through fundraising for world-leading cancer research and vital support services, Daffodil Day has grown hope and given back for all that cancer takes.
There are many ways to get involved this Daffodil Day and join the 40th anniversary celebrations. You could make a splash with the Daffodil Day Dip, get dressed up in yellow and host your own fundraising event at work, or even just have important conversations with those around you to raise awareness of the impacts of cancer.
The Daffodil Day online store will be going live soon, so keep an eye out to ensure you don't miss your chance to buy fresh daffodils to support cancer research.
Find out more about how you can join the celebrations on the Daffodil Day website.

Cancer Council SA is partnering with Breakthrough Mental Health Foundation for a once-in-a-lifetime cricket experience raising vital funds for mental health and cancer research. As proud charity partners of the South Australian Cricket Association, we are excited to offer 10 lucky corporate teams to play in the first ever Biggest Backyard Cricket Bash on the legendary Adelaide Oval.
On Sunday 11 October, teams will play in a round-robin T10 competition on Adelaide Oval, with the top two teams battling it out in a grand final on the centre wicket alongside South Australian cricket legends. Spaces are limited, so get in quick to secure a team.
