Social Work is one of the vital services Cancer Council SA offers to our regional guests, who have travelled to Adelaide for cancer treatment. Our Social Worker, Steve is on hand to chat to our guests about practical issues, provide information about services, and offer a safe and confidential space to talk about some of the issues a cancer experience can bring.
Ken’s 12 month stay at Cancer Council’s Greenhill Lodge
Ken is from Menindee, a small town 630 kilometres from Adelaide, and has been staying at Cancer Council’s Greenhill Lodge for 12 months, while receiving treatment for acute lymphatic leukaemia.
