The latest round of Cancer Council Beat Cancer Project recipients have been awarded, with nearly $2milion invested into local, South Australian cancer research.

This year we celebrate 10 fabulous years of the iconic Marilyn Jetty Swim. Our Marilyns first took to the seas in 2014, and, since then the event has grown into an iconic annual event which to date has raised an incredible $820,000. We take a look back at how it all began and what this incredible event has achieved over the past 10 years.

Healthy Living after Cancer: Giving cancer survivors tools to live well after treatment
Getting back to a healthy lifestyle after cancer is one of the most important things you can do for your health. In November, 12 South Australians, including Maria who has recently completed treatment for breast cancer, took part in our 12-week Healthy Living after Cancer Program and have been able to set and achieve their physical and emotional wellbeing goals.

Established in 2014, the Marilyn Jetty Swim has become an iconic part of the annual Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic which sees more than 300 South Australians swim or paddle 400 metres around the beautiful Brighton Jetty—dressed head to toe as fabulous 50’s icon Marilyn Monroe.

As students and parents prepare to head back to school, Cancer Council SA is urging young South Australians to pack their SunSmart gear in their school bag and Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide.
