Katrina joins sea of Marilyns to raise funds for South Aussies impacted by cancer

This time last year, Katrina Brown was undergoing treatment for breast cancer as she watched her sister swim around Brighton Jetty dressed as Marilyn Monroe in her honour. This February, Katrina is cancer free and taking part in her first Marilyn Jetty Swim on Sunday 4 February for the biggest year yet of this iconic event.

New data shows more than 34 per cent of South Australian adults reported being sunburnt in the last year

New data from the South Australian Population Health Survey shows that in 2022, 34 per cent of adults surveyed reported having been sunburnt in the last 12 months. This National Skin Cancer Action Week, Cancer Council SA and Wellbeing SA have released South Australia’s first Framework to take action against skin cancer and save lives.
