Since Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea started 32 years ago, Angela has been a constant presence, hosting fundraisers to support people impacted by cancer. Having missed only one year in that time, and with her 31st event now behind her, she’s already looking forward to the next.
Fiona’s stay at Greenhill Lodge while undergoing treatment for uterine cancer
Fiona was airlifted from her home in Mount Gambier to receive treatment for incurable uterine cancer and told she would need to stay in Adelaide, far from home and family, for seven weeks straight. During this time and every 21 days since, her and her husband Alex have stayed with us in our Lodge accommodation.

Cancer Council SA is launching a campaign today which aims to raise awareness in the community that alcohol can cause cancer and encourage people to reduce their drinking to reduce their cancer risk.

Last month, we visited Surrey Downs Primary School and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service – a proud SunSmart school for over 17 years! Our Chief Executive Kerry Rowlands was joined by Minister for Education, Training and Skills Blair Boyer MP, to celebrate the success of the SunSmart Schools and Early Childhood Program which protects more than 129,000 South Australian children.
