Last month, we visited Surrey Downs Primary School and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service – a proud SunSmart school for over 17 years! Our Chief Executive Kerry Rowlands was joined by Minister for Education, Training and Skills Blair Boyer MP, to celebrate the success of the SunSmart Schools and Early Childhood Program which protects more than 129,000 South Australian children.

Sugary drinks are very low in nutritional value. We know that regularly drinking them can cause tooth decay in the short-term and health problems like gestational and type 2 diabetes, kidney stones, chronic kidney disease, heart disease and obesity-related cancers in the long-term.

Sarah established the Marilyn Jetty Swim in 2014 in memory of her mum, Esther who passed away from uterine cancer in 2006.

After Dean lost his wife and love of his life Judith to ovarian cancer in March 2017, he has been determined to do something about it and has made raising funds and awareness for other women impacted by ovarian cancer his passion for the rest of his time.
